The RAVE about KRAVE

I have been reading several blogs now and most of them are raving about this new Organic Line of Face and Body Products from Krave. I have also checked out their Facebook Site and saw all the information I needed, from their products and it's description, their prices, how you can order and payment methods.

All of their products are made from the US and is distributed here in the Philippines. They are the first one to introduce and bring Organic Skin Care Products here in our country.

Saturday is Grocery Day!!! Haul from SM Cubao

As you all know, me and my boyfriend are already living under one roof. Under his family's roof. We have now separate chores and responsibilities and mine was groceries. Assigned to me was everything for laundry, everything for coffee and primary needs in the kitchen such as cooking oil, salt, pepper, seasonings and other stuff we use in cooking.

Last Saturday, his family and I went to the LJS Bodega Sale (promise to post something about that event) and after was the "palengke" day of his mom. We decided to be dropped off at SM Cubao so we can just do the grocery at the same time.

I purchased everything we need for the house and also bought some extras for me and Jams (the boyfriend). I bought some toiletries that we are now running out of.

DIY: Colorful Bangles/Bracelet - MIA for a week

Hey guys! I have been MIA for a week now. I have been sick for days and was also busy preparing for "Undas". But anyways, I am now back and I have something to show you. From my last Divisoria Haul, I bought several thin wire bangles. They were so cheap which was a good thing, but they were also plain looking. I have decided that I should paint them instead for that pop of color so that I can mix and match them as my arm candy! And as promised, I will show you how I made them.

Here's what I did.

Gotti's Ristorante

When I attended the Belle du Jour Event 2 weeks ago in SM Mall of Asia, we got really hungry and tired. My boyfriend and I decided not to just settle with the usual fast food. While strolling and looking for a decent resto, we passed by, a lot of times, at Gotti's. Since we have no place to go, we ended up here.

Accessory Haul : DIVI EXESSORIZE!

My good friend Mahwee and Angel (Gegel) asked me if I can join them and go to Divisoria. Mahwee wants to buy a United Nations Costume for her son and Gegel, some additional prizes for her son's birthday party. I noticed that the building that was under construction last month was now opened. It was the new side/extension of the 999 Mall. We head out first to 168 Mall. We were able to find the things my friends need but how about me?

I remember, I lost my pair of fancy earrings when we went to Puregold Clark for their grocery sale. I think I dropped it when I fixed my hair that time. So I decided to buy some accessories instead and to replace the earrings I lost. I am so excited to show you everything and my ultimate favorite piece!!! Let's start!

Here's what I bought.

BDJ Fair : LIMITLESS - October 14, 2012

This is one of my most awaited event this October.

The Belle de Jour Power Planner :  BDJ Fair - Limitless! Be a Power Bella.

It was held at the Sm Mall of Asia Music Hall last October 14, 2012, Sunday.

Me and my friend Sam and Miccel agreed to meet up in the said event. Too bad, me and my boyfriend arrived late. So late that I missed the Beauty Camp Talk. I joined Sam and Miccel after the talk, they were my High School Buddies. I haven't seen Miccel for, I guess 9 years? (since 2nd year high school) Sam also introduced me to Helen Blas of Lucky Citrine. It was nice meeting you Helen!

It's like a Fiesta/Carnival Themed Event. Nice!

A Hectic Saturday - Oct.13, 2012

We were invited by Ate Ann (sister of the boyfriend) to go to Tagaytay and have a breakfast buffet at Josephine's Restaurant, visit the Pink Sister's Monastery and feed some fish a Nuvali. And yes, we said yes! 6:00 am impromptu we woke up, though the call time was supposed to be 5:30 am, and headed South. I did not have that much sleep so I was a bit light headed and groggy.

First Stop was Josephine's. Yey! They had their usual breakfast items such as cereals, native cheese and bread, taho, fried rice, salted egg and tomato, tocino, longganisa, corned beef, BACON!!!, native rice cakes and an array of fresh fruits. They also have their own egg station wherein you can get your eggs, cooked the way you wanted it.

Good morning curly hair!!!

Fall Make Up and Hair Style Trends

I hope this is not too late. It's still fall right? Though we do not have that kind of season here in the PH.

My Other Interest

This will be a big switch from my usual interest. Well, not that I'm saying that this not my interest too, but doing this thing is kinda too personal for me and I often hide it from the others. But now, since I was already influenced by my high school friend Sam of DishySammy turned into a make up enthusiast, I am taking this big leap and try to show the world and other girls out there what make up really means to me.

I have been MIA for the past months because I became lazy... But  though I stopped, there is still a part of me that wants to come back and blog for more. So now, here are my Make Up Collection!!!

Let's start with my make up bag...

My sister got this for free in Watson's, I think last year, and she gave it to me after but I just started using it few months ago. I call it my kikay kit. I can fit here all the stuff I need to bring with for retouch and alike.

Korean Ice Cream Adventure

I have been craving for something cold for the past week as I have been transferred to a mid-shift schedule at work. I should be at work at 3:00 pm. With this time of the day, I am already exhausted with the travel from home to the office. I was looking for something sweet, cold and of course yummy for my tummy like Halo-Halo or maybe Ice Cream. Me and my colleague, Charlie, decided to go down at the grocery department of Market Market to get something we could munch on before our shift starts. Then I saw one of their freezer labeled with "KOREAN ICE CREAM." I was drawn to it right away. I have been seeing these stuff all over and I tried it once before (Strawberry Yogurt Bar). But this time, there are so many varieties to choose from, I can't even decide...

I got the Nougat Bar and Charlie ended up with the Kimy Ice Drop. I was like thinking "how corny... Let's try to be adventurous this time and be different. There were a lot of cold yummy stuffs in front of us and we don't have any idea what it has inside (all were written in Korean Language of course!).

The next day, Charlie was also now into this Melona Ice Cream I was talking about for days. She said that there's this one store, near our office who sells that and other Korean Ice Cream too. I said right away, "Let's go!," and there we were.We don't have to go downstairs and line up at the grocery anymore. She is now my official Ice Cream Buddy!

We both got the Melona Ice Cream. It has 3 different flavors, Honey Dew, Strawberry, Banana and Mango. But we settled with the Honey Dew, we want to keep it safe first. It was so creamy!! I thought it was just like an ice drop kind of thing but it was really an ice cream on a stick. I find it so melony that I was looking for real strands of honey dew on it.

Before my shift ends, here comes my boyfriend who was on a night shift schedule, 9:00 pm. Good thing he and my other friend Mahwee was early at work. I invited them to try these nearby Korean Ice Cream Store and this time we got different flavors. Me and Mahwee got the Fish Ice Cream (that's what we call it since we still do not know how to read Korean) and my hubby got the Encho (Chocolate covered Vanilla Ice Cream with a Chocolate Fudge Center - that is how he described it). Everything was pure awesome!! The Fish one had a wafer shell with a super duper creamy vanilla ice cream and red azuki bean stuffing. We enjoyed everything but for Mahwee, she hated the beans.

Now, everytime my shift would start, I would get one bar of those Korean Ice Cream. Actually, right now, at this very moment, I got to try Melona in Strawberry Flavor and still, it was heaven! Who ever invented them or brought them here in the Philippines, a big THANK YOU!

Starting this thing...

This is the first time I am gonna start to blog. I want people to see what I love to do most (which is cooking and eating) and share my experiences. I am a Nutritionist-Dietitian / Call Center Agent who loves to eat and try out new things that would suffice my daily cravings.  Mixing and matching flavors so I can create something that people would love is what I consider my hobby. I want to keep track of what every food experiment I have concocted and share them to people with the same interest as mine. There was a time where I was on the point of giving up this Cooking-Baking hobby but with the support of my  hubby and friends, it all went well again.

I searched the internet for Blog Sites that would be best for beginner bloggers like me. I found this, Blogger / Blogspot where everything is so basic. I will not have a hard time learning what is HTML again and how does it work. Just write what's running on your head and BAM!, there goes your post.

Hopefully, I will be able to keep up with this "Blogging" thing. Next post will also be today!!! yeeepeeee!
